Luxe Transitional Farmhouse

Using a different color for your island can add interest and make it feel like a free-standing piece of furniture. In this kitchen, designed and installed by Allen's Fine Woodworking, we used Medallion Cabinetry. The main cabinets use the Ellison raised panel door style in maple Morel paint and Raw Umber glaze. The island is maple in the same door style but with Chestnut stain and beautifully ties in corresponding vent hood and the various hues in the glass tile backsplash. The concealed refrigerator blends in seamlessly to add a serene feeling to the room.
